time off! part 1!

The sun was shinning, and it was over 35 degrees today, a perfect opportunity to shoot some photographs, and explore the gorgeous state of Vermont. So, taking advantage of my time off before a really busy week coming up, I hit the road. This is what I found. Enjoy. Feel free to leave comments and feedback!

oh my gosh!

It's been far too long since I updated this, i tend to forget about it and simply only upload to my flickr. anyway, onto the new work!

I've spent the past few months doing a lot of work and a lot of driving. Sadly, the neither of my 2 part time jobs are photo related, but in this economy, one must do what one must do to make ends meet. (.P.S. i almost spelled that meat, maybe I'm hungry?)

Ok! Onto the photo's so. The new few posts will not be chronologically, but mostly grouped by subject. Here's some new images of land shot in two different locations.

Scanned 35mm film!

The previous entry showed images shot digtally around southern Vermont and New Hamshire. Here are some images shot on Fuji Pro400H 35mm film with a Nikon body and a Nikkor 24mm 2.8 lens. They were scanned by the film processing lab I recently started sending work to. Here's two images post procssed in adobe cs3, with adjustments in sharpening and curves.

I've been going through old work and found some photographs, I made in November of 2007. It's interesting how much work I have that I've never really followed up on. It's really great going through old work and seeing themes I never realized that I've continued and played with in various ways. Here are two photographs from 2007.
